Generation Zen 15-Week Summer/Fall Internship Application Is Now Open!

Desired skills:

Ability to curate user-centric designs that integrate a deep understanding of user preferences and needs
Familiarity with digital design tools (ex: Canva)
Creatively generate innovative solutions for our organization to promote
In-depth understanding of mental well-being and mindfulness practices/techniques
Can creatively curate new coloring pages for upcoming coloring books (ex: Procreate, Ibis Paint, etc.)

What to expect:

Weekly collaboration with team members to brainstorm creative ideas for mindfulness solutions
3-4 hours of weekly participation in actualizing ideas
Meet set deadlines for product creation
Gain in-depth experience in researching community needs and practically applying them to real-world solutions

Desired skills:

Critical thinking skills for evaluating research findings, identifying strengths and limitations, and synthesizing information to develop evidence-based recommendations for practice
Familiarity with the research process, structure, and various methodologies
Can produce high-quality, academic writing

What To Expect:

3-4 hours of weekly participation to brainstorm topics of inquiry, submit approval, and write out the complete article
A total of 3 articles minimum should be published by the end of the internship
Meet set deadlines for publishing articles
Gain real experience in publishing academic/scientifically informative writing for a real-world purpose that addresses a prevalent community issue

Desired skills:

Deep understanding of popular social media platforms and their unique content formats
Ability to foster meaningful interactions by responding to comments and messages and cultivating a supportive online environment for those interested
Can develop a strategic content calendar and posting schedule to maintain a consistent and engaging social media presence
Can creatively curate social posts that accurately represent the brand message, intended audience, and theme

What to expect:

Weekly collaboration with team members to brainstorm creative content ideas to properly inform those interested
Engage in networking regularly with other similar organizations to amplify our message and mission
Meet deadlines set by the established posting schedule
3-4 hours of weekly participation for content brainstorming, creation, submitting for approval, and launching

applications are due on june 17th at 11:59 pm CST.
